Mission - The Nevada Physical Therapy Board protects and promotes the health and safety of Nevadans by pursuing the highest quality of physical therapy practice through education, communication, licensing, legislation, regulation, and enforcement. Duties of the Board: Enforce the provisions of NRS and regulations adopted by the Board; Establish qualifications for minimal competency to grant or deny licensure of physical therapist and physical therapist assistants; Verify credentials of applicants to license and renew, and regulate competency and quality by establishing, monitoring and enforcing qualifications for licensure.
